Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
What is a packaged combustion system?
A packaged combustion system is a complete burner solution that includes the burner, fuel train, control panel, safety systems, and often a blower—all pre-assembled and tested before delivery. This simplifies installation, improves reliability, and ensures compliance with safety standards.
What industries use packaged combustion systems?
Our systems are used across a wide range of industries, including: • Industrial drying and curing systems (e.g. for coatings, adhesives, grain, or biomass) • Food and bakery ovens • Heat treatment furnaces • Incinerators and thermal oxidisers If your process requires consistent, controllable heat — we likely have a system for it.
Can I customise the system to my application?
Yes. Rapidflame packaged combustion systems are available in a range of configurations, and we can tailor key elements — such as burner capacity, fuel type (including natural gas, LPG, and other fuel gas blends), airflow, and control method (on/off or modulating) — to suit your specific application and compliance requirements. Mechanical layout and mounting options can also be adjusted where needed.
Do your systems comply with international safety standards?
Absolutely. Our systems are built to meet European, North American, and other relevant regional standards, depending on your location.
What kind of support do you offer after installation?
We provide full documentation, wiring diagrams, and remote commissioning assistance. Ongoing support includes spare parts, upgrades, and help with integration into your wider control system. For some regions, we can recommend or coordinate with local service partners.
