 FUEL GAS QUALITY MONITORING: Fuel Gas Quality Monitoring
Rapidflame Limited supply fuel gas property monitoring and control systems called Gas PT systems. The systems include solid state gas property analysers with read out every 2 seconds for Calorific Value ( CV) Wobbe Index ( WI) and percentage inert gasses such as N2 and CO2.

They are ideal for large natural gas or LNG users where fuel gas CV is important for production quality for example in float glass plants and fibre glass plants where temperature control systems can not quickly respond to gas CV changes. Other applications include pharmaceutical hollow glass producers where high speed flame critical machines can be effected by changing fuel gas properties.

CV monitoring is also useful for checking declared energy delivery in billing applications.
